Handmade

We build high-level instruments. Tools that reflect the state of the art on wood instruments so that you can express your ideas and feelings in the most intense and honest way. Here, everything is meticulously elaborated by hand, with selected solid woods, exclusive and customizable pieces, with great attention to detail and the sound of each instrument, its context and intention. Combining handmade with technology, our workshop has modern and precise equipment for small and exclusive details we offers.

Marcello Rizzi

Marcello Rizzi is the founder and luthier responsible for the instruments built here at Rizzi Instruments. With a degree in mechanical engineering, he stopped working in the field in 2014 when, on a trip, he had the opportunity to be apprenticed to the great luthier Al Calderone at ARC Guitar, located in Winters, California. He spent a year under his master's tutelage until he learned all the techniques and theories needed to build his own instruments. After that, he spent a season in Toronto, building, repairing and adjusting instruments there, as well as giving some courses. Since then he has dedicated himself to creating instruments that represent the state of the art in instrument building in Curitiba, Brazil and why not the world.

Some of the artists who already have a Rizzi Guitar are: Ana Caetano (AnaVitória - Latin Grammy Winner), Tó Brandileone (5aseco - Latin Grammy Winner), Paulo Novaes (Latin Grammy Winner), Pedro Altério (5aseco), Marcelinho Oliveira (Banda Eva), Du Gomide, Lucas Lepca, Titcho Looper, among others.

Also dedicated to strengthening the local artistic and musical scene, he handles the instruments of various artists who are part of this scene, with cultural support at various events and as the creator and producer of the entertainment channel UltraSonoros.

Ultra Sonoros

No UltraSonoros, our goal is to create quality materials to help spread the incredible work of emerging and consolidated artists to the world. Ultra Sonoros is an organization between Ultra Sonoros Rizzi - Musical Instruments and Smart Diseños. The project began in a totally unpretentious way in the Smart Diseños audio room by recording a session with the Rizzi guitars and has developed exponentially until it reaches its first Smart Sessions series, and will soon be expanded to other sessions.
